May 20, 2012 - A Beautiful Day!

I love this time of year.  There's so much promise and every time I pull into the market parking lot I wonder what new bounty will be waiting.  I wasn't at the market last week because we were out of town so I'm not sure what was there last week, but this week I found broccoli, three different kinds of potatoes, baby squash, and some new and delicious greens.  I meant to post this yesterday but life got in the way, and I have to say that the broccoli I steamed for dinner last night was phenomenal!  So flavorful and vibrant green, I fear store-bought broccoli will always pale in comparison.  I have some left that certainly won't go in a recipe, I don't want anything masking the wonderful flavor.
